Kalekim offers an excellent solution to keep construction from halting even in harsh winter conditions with its innovative product 'Wintertech,' which allows application on structures at temperatures as low as (-10)°C.
Kalekim offers a perfect solution for construction work to continue even in harsh winter conditions through its innovative 'Wintertech' product, which enables application to structures even at (-10)°C.
Kalekim continues to offer innovative products developed with deep research and development experience to consumers and professionals through a 'technical solutions' concept. Kalekim's 'Wintertech' technology, which sets a precedent by enabling application to structures even in difficult winter conditions, now eliminates the necessity of suspending work during winter and attempting to heat the environment.
Robust Solutions
Wintertech offers robust solutions along with cement-based products during winter months, enabling use even at (-10)°C. While cement-based products can be applied between (+5)°C - (+35)°C, high-performance ceramic adhesive 1056 Professional and autoclaved aerated concrete mortar 1058 Technoblock products manufactured with Kalekim's developed Wintertech technology can be comfortably used between (-10)°C - (+23)°C.No More Work Stoppages at Construction Sites
Kalekim, expanding its product range with new solutions while considering sector trends and consumer needs, contributes to the rapid completion of construction projects by preventing construction site shutdowns in winter conditions when temperatures drop through Wintertech. 1056 PROFESSIONAL (WT) High-performance, cement-based adhesive mortar applicable in cold weather conditions.Application Areas
- In interior and exterior applications, for the application of cladding materials such as granite, natural granite, large-size ceramic, porcelain ceramic, cotto, clinker on surfaces such as concrete, plaster, screed both horizontally and vertically, - Used in ceramic applications over existing ceramic and marble.Features
- Has high adhesion strength. - Easy to comb. - Does not slip.Application Instructions
The surface must be cleaned of residues that would prevent adhesion. Care should be taken that the surface is cured and sound. Any imperfections on the surface to be applied should be corrected with REPAIMART or MASTER 10. The dusty surface on the back of the ceramic should be dampened and wiped. 25 kg PROFESSIONAL should be slowly poured over 6 - 6.75 lt of water and mixed (approximately 3 minutes) until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Care should be taken that the mixing water is a minimum of 10°C. Mixing should be done with a low-speed mixer. No additives not specified in the application instructions should be added. The prepared mortar should be left to mature for 20 minutes. It should be mixed again for 3 minutes before starting application. To achieve better adhesion, the mortar should be spread on the surface with the flat side of the trowel, then combed with the toothed side of the trowel selected according to the tile size. For application of cladding materials 40x40 cm and larger in size, and for applications in spaces with heavy foot traffic and load traffic, the combined adhesion method should be preferred. Tiles should be bonded by applying force on the combed mortar within 20 minutes. This period may be shortened in unsuitable ambient conditions such as high temperature, low humidity, wind. Adhesive application should not be carried out over mortar whose time has expired; the mortar should be scraped from the surface. Mortar that has exceeded its shelf life or has crusted in the bucket should be discarded. After application, hands and application tools should be rinsed thoroughly with water. Surfaces should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Tiles bonded with PROFESSIONAL should avoid direct contact with water for at least 24 hours. 1058 TECHNOBLOCK (WT) Practical cement-based autoclaved aerated concrete mortar applicable in cold weather conditions.Advertisement
