VitrA Tiles Win Award from Germany

VitrA's tile series Ash&Burn and Metamarmo received awards in the "Building and Elements" category under the German Design Award 2019, presented by the German Design Council. The series that won these awards had previously also received recognition under the Iconic Awards | Interior Innovation 2018 program. The Ash&Burn series, designed by Selma Gülkan from the VitrA Design Team, combines the timeless simplicity of concrete with warm natural tones through its sophisticated color palette and striking texture. The ceramic series Metamarmo, designed by Alexandra Erdoğan, reflects the vivid colors of fluid marble veining and the shimmer of the sky, transforming walls into jewels. The German Design Award, aimed at honoring unique trends, is organized in pursuit of design excellence. Products and projects active in international markets compete for the award, evaluated by a 45-member international jury and presented in the categories of "Excellent Product Design" and "Excellent Communication Design."
