Pay Equality Assessed Through Comprehensive Analyses
The evaluation process conducted by an independent audit firm included a total of 5,379 white-collar and blue-collar employees within the company. The analyses demonstrated that the principle of equal pay for equal work was applied between male and female employees, and any potential pay differences could be explained by objective criteria.
"Equality is Part of Our Organizational Culture"
Eylem Özgür, Vice President of Human Resources at Ülker, noted that documenting the equal pay for equal work approach with an international certificate is an important indicator of the company's inclusive understanding.
Özgür stated in his explanation:
"Equal opportunity and inclusivity are among the fundamental elements of Ülker's sustainability approach. This international and independent certification demonstrates that equal opportunity at Ülker is not merely a goal, but a measurable and established organizational standard. With this achievement, we believe we have set a strong example not only for our own company but also for our sector."
What is the Equal Salary Certificate?
The Equal Salary Certificate issued by EQUAL-SALARY Foundation is known as an international certification program in which pay equality between male and female employees in organizations is evaluated through scientific methods.
As part of the process, organizations undergo a comprehensive assessment prepared with the contribution of academic institutions specializing in the labor market field and international audit organizations. The certificate is valid for 3 years, during which the company's equality and diversity policies are regularly monitored.
