TÜSİAD SD² 5th Call Period Success Stories Announced TÜSİAD's TÜSİAD Digital Transformation in Industry (TÜSİAD SD2) Programme, which has been running for five years to support the digital transformation of industry, has announced the success stories from its 5th call period. The project developed by Teksan, an innovative company in the energy solutions sector, in collaboration with Metapax Acoustic Engineering & Miltron Defence, was selected as a Success Story in the 'Added Value' category. Launched by TÜSİAD as part of its Industry 4.0 work, with TÜSİAD SD² first implemented in 2018, it is Turkey's first comprehensive programme created around the theme of "Digital Transformation in Industry" bringing together technology users and technology suppliers. The fifth edition of TÜSİAD SD² was realised with the objective of strengthening the industrial digital transformation process and supporting the technology supplier ecosystem. Technology user companies that issued calls within the programme were matched with technology suppliers offering solutions suited to those calls. Teksan, a leading player in the uninterrupted energy solutions sector, collaborated with Metapax Acoustic Engineering & Miltron Defence as technology suppliers to find solutions for the call it opened under the programme titled "Leak Detection Through Acoustic Analysis in Tanks". This collaboration between Teksan and Metapax & Miltron succeeded in being included among the TÜSİAD SD2 Success Stories. The ongoing research and development project aims to minimise downtime in checking fuel tank leaks. At the TÜSİAD SD2 Success Stories Ceremony, the TÜSİAD SD2 Programme, which has now completed its 5th call period and made significant contributions to industrial digital transformation, projects were shared on site safety, data warehouse development, cybersecurity, e-commerce application and acoustic analysis. Opening remarks at the ceremony were delivered by TÜSİAD Board of Directors Chairman Orhan Turan and TÜSİAD Digital Turkey Roundtable Co-Chair Perihan İnci. Following company presentations on their projects, plaques were presented to companies selected as Success Stories in different categories. At the ceremony, Teksan, Metapax and Miltron, selected as Success Stories in the "Added Value" category, received plaques. Teksan General Manager Yunus Teksan, also a TÜSİAD Task Force Member, received Teksan's plaque from TÜSİAD Board of Directors Chairman Orhan Turan. Teksan General Manager Yunus Teksan expressed great pride in being part of this project and continued his remarks as follows: "We are delighted to be part of the Success Stories of TÜSİAD SD2, which guides digital transformation in the business world and makes very important contributions. In the project titled 'Leak Detection Through Acoustic Analysis in Tanks', which we have long wanted to implement, we have achieved a beautiful synergy with Metapax Acoustic Engineering & Miltron Defence as Teksan partners. Thanks to TÜSİAD, in this work we came together with the right people at the right time. We aim to use acoustic control and imaging technology in leak detection. This way, we will be able to reduce inspection times, which currently take around 30 minutes, to 1-2 minutes.
