TÜSİAD SD² 5th Call Period Success Stories Announced The success stories from the 5th Call Period of the TÜSİAD Industrial Digital Transformation (TÜSİAD SD2) Program, which TÜSİAD has been running for five years to support the digital transformation of industry, have been announced. The project developed by Teksan, an innovative company in the energy solutions sector, in collaboration with Metapax Acoustic Engineering & Miltron Defense, was selected as a Success Story in the 'Added Value' category. TÜSİAD SD², which was first implemented in 2018 as part of TÜSİAD's industry 4.0 initiatives, stands out as the first comprehensive program in Turkey created with the theme of "Digital Transformation in Industry" and bringing together technology users and technology suppliers. The 5th edition of TÜSİAD SD² took place with the goal of strengthening the digital transformation process in industry and supporting the technology supplier ecosystem. Within the program, technology user companies that opened calls were matched with technology suppliers that had solution proposals suitable for those calls. Teksan, which plays a leading role in the uninterrupted energy solutions sector, opened a call within the program titled "Leak Detection Through Acoustic Analysis in Tanks" and partnered with Metapax Acoustic Engineering & Miltron Defense as a technology supplier to provide a solution. This collaboration between Teksan and Metapax & Miltron succeeded in being included among the TÜSİAD SD2 Success Stories. The project, with ongoing research and development activities, aims to minimize time loss in controlling fuel tank leaks. At the TÜSİAD SD2 Success Stories Ceremony, which showcased significant contributions to industrial digital transformation and marked the completion of the 5th Call Period of the TÜSİAD SD2 Program, projects were shared in the areas of site safety, data warehouse development, cyber security, e-commerce application, and acoustic analysis. The opening remarks of the ceremony were delivered by TÜSİAD Board Chairman Orhan Turan and TÜSİAD Digital Turkey Roundtable Co-Chair Perihan İnci. Following presentations by companies on their projects, plaques were awarded to companies selected as Success Stories in different categories. At the ceremony, Teksan, Metapax and Miltron, selected as Success Story in the "Added Value" category, received plaques. Teksan General Manager Yunus Teksan, who is also a TÜSİAD Task Force Member, received the plaque from TÜSİAD Board Chairman Orhan Turan. Thanks to TÜSİAD, we came together with the right people at the right time. In this work, we aim to use acoustic inspection and imaging technology in leak detection. In this way, we will be able to reduce inspection times from around 30 minutes to 1-2 minutes.
