TUSAŞ - YÖK Cooperation Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) and the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) have signed a "Cooperation Protocol in Higher Education" to contribute to the development of the aviation industry. Turkish Aerospace Industries and the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) have signed a cooperation protocol to provide scholarships to doctoral students within the framework of a scientific research program established within TUSAŞ. The scientific research program, which will provide scholarship support to a total of 200 doctoral students, will support thesis work that will contribute to the development of the aviation industry in many areas, from materials science to mechanical subjects, from software to next-generation aircraft development. The cooperation protocol signing ceremony was held within the framework of the scientific research program, with the attendance of Turkish Aerospace Industries General Director Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil and Council of Higher Education Chairman Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, as well as approximately 18 university rectors. This will highlight qualified human resources in the aviation sector in TUSAŞ's roadmap. Under the protocol signed to support doctoral studies conducted on topics that will create competency levels, TUSAŞ and YÖK will work together in the selection and evaluation phase of 200 doctoral students. Students accepted to the scholarship program will contribute to scientific studies conducted through doctoral thesis work on topics determined in the field of aviation and space. Following their remarks, YÖK Chairman Erol Özvar and TUSAŞ General Director Temel Kotil signed the "Cooperation Protocol in Higher Education Between Turkish Aerospace Industries and YÖK". After the protocol signing ceremony, YÖK Chairman Özvar, Executive Board Member Prof. Dr. Naci Gündoğan and rectors of relevant universities toured TUSAŞ facilities. Chairman Özvar engaged in conversation with engineers and staff members and had commemorative photographs taken.
