Turkish Manufacturer Develops Custom Pallet for Geothermal Industry, Gains Edge in Sector
GREEN Chemicals A.Ş., a company established with 100 per cent domestic capital in Türkiye, has enhanced durability effects in power plants and facilities through its GEO-Treat® product range developed for the geothermal energy sector, which ranks among the country's leading renewable energy sources.
The company's product group introduced to the market in this field will enable more efficient use of thermal waters and minimize problems in geothermal power plants.
In recent years, with major investments made in the geothermal energy sector that has helped bridge the country's energy gap, GREEN Chemicals A.Ş., which produces chemical inhibitors—among the leading materials used in the sector—in Türkiye, supplies its specialised product range to power plants and thermal facilities both domestically and internationally.
Chemicals Withstanding Highest Temperatures
The company distinguishes itself through the GEO-Treat® product range, a high-performance product used in horticulture, thermal hotels, district heating and power generation, which can prevent the risks of deposits and corrosion that the high temperature reached by geothermal fluid at its exit point from underground could create in materials and machinery, and contributes to systems operating trouble-free 365 days a year. The product's greatest feature is that it provides complete protection at temperatures up to 250 degrees. Will Enable Wider Adoption of Hot Springs, Greenhouses and District Heating
In comments on the matter, GREEN Chemicals Deputy General Manager Cengiz Ay stated that they designed the GEO-Treat® product range to prevent high-temperature water and steam found in reservoirs at geothermal power plants from damaging materials and systems. Cengiz Ay said they contribute to the energy sector and the economy by producing new chemicals for thermal hot springs, centralized residential heating and greenhouse heating technology using geothermal energy, which is newly emerging in agriculture. Ay added that the company has taken particular care in selecting these chemicals in a way that does not harm the environment and human health.Advertisement
