Türkiye Announces Major Collaboration in Defense and Aerospace Industry

Kale Grubu, a Turkish industrial pioneer, has signed a strategic partnership to further strengthen its position in the defence and aerospace sectors. As part of its portfolio transformation strategy, the Group has become a partner of ANDAR, one of Turkey's leading firms in electromechanical systems.

Through this partnership, Kale Grubu will support ANDAR's domestic and international growth objectives through customer and project synergies, taking an important step on the path to becoming a global player in the electromechanical systems sector.

Kale Grubu, a longstanding Turkish industrial player in the aerospace and defence sectors, is combining its experience in the aerospace and defence industries—housing companies such as Kale Havacılık, Kale Jet Motorları and Kale Pratt & Whitney—with ANDAR's innovative and high-tech capabilities in electromechanical systems. This partnership will enhance both Kale Grubu and ANDAR's capacity to develop integrated solutions in the aerospace and defence industries, deepening their footprints in the sector.

Since 2012, ANDAR has developed electromechanical systems of critical importance, particularly unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and guidance kits, and possesses one of the field's most significant R&D centres. Supplying defence industry leaders such as Roketsan, Aselsan and TUSAŞ, ANDAR also provides high-quality solutions to innovative projects overseas. 

The strategic partnership agreement between Kale Grupu and ANDAR, which will serve as a cornerstone for the Turkish defence and aerospace industry, was signed at a special ceremony held on 24 July at the 17th International Defence Industry Fair—IDEF 2025. 

The signing ceremony at IDEF 2025 was attended by Osman Okyay, Vice Chairman of Kale Grupu's Board of Directors; Ali Rıza Alptekin, Head of Defence and Aerospace; Abdullah Çerekçi, Senior Vice President for Strategy; and on ANDAR's behalf, Founding Partners Reşat Hakan Avcı, Serkan Kale and Gökhan Koyuncu.
