Turkey Trusts Knauf, Knauf Trusts Turkey: New Investment from Knauf in Turkey

Knauf, a major player in the dry construction sector, continues its growth in Turkey with a decision to establish a fifth production facility. Operating two factories in Ankara, one in İzmit and one in Eskişehir, Knauf continues to serve the building materials sector with gypsum and gypsum plasterboard as its main products. The company plans to build its fifth factory in Osmaniye. With production facilities in more than 220 countries worldwide and sales operations in over 160 countries, Knauf shared news of its fifth production facility to be built in Turkey during an event held with its distributors. At the meeting attended by over 200 distributors, Knauf management announced the establishment of the fifth production facility, stating in their remarks that they trust Turkey and are delighted to support the country's development.

At the event organized under the motto "Turkey Trusts Knauf, Knauf Trusts Turkey," Knauf Turkey Chairman of the Board Isabel Knauf, Knauf Turkey Chief Executive Officer Orhan Düzgün and Turkey Sales Manager Emre Eker took the floor with their presentations. In their presentations, the speakers also addressed the impact of economic developments on the sector and on Knauf, adding that as a company they grow a little more with their distributors each passing day. At the end of the presentations, Isabel Knauf and Orhan Düzgün shared the factory news with the distributors through an animation created using 3D technology, stating that this new investment further reinforced Knauf's success in Turkey. Knauf management stated that the new production facility planned to be implemented in Osmaniye is designed to global Knauf standards in terms of capacity and technology, adding in their remarks that they will continue to provide new solutions to the building materials sector and, as always, will be pioneers in providing contemporary living spaces. They also expressed great satisfaction that the new factory will provide new employment opportunities for the people in the region. Knauf Turkey management also stated that they view the factory as a gateway for exports from Turkey to the Middle East and added that they are excited about the new investment. The event, which started early in the day and was filled with different activities throughout, proved productive for both distributors and Knauf. Toward the end of the evening, distributors expressed that they once again felt the privilege of working with Knauf at this event, noting that the mutual trust between Knauf and Turkey, and Turkey and Knauf, is reciprocal.
