Adil Sani Konukoğlu Elected Chairman of the Board of TÜRKÇİMENTO

Adil Sani Konukoğlu has been elected Chairman of the Board of TURÇIMENTO, the roof organization of Turkey's cement sector.

Following the death of Board Chairman Fatih Yücelik, TURÇIMENTO held a meeting with the participation of Board members to determine its new chairman. As a result of the election, Adil Sani Konukoğlu was elected to the position of TURÇIMENTO Board Chairman. Adil Sani Konukoğlu, who was appointed to the position of Chairman by unanimous vote at the meeting, will serve in this role until the General Assembly to be held in 2026.

New Board Chairman Adil Sani Konukoğlu made a statement at the TURÇIMENTO Board Meeting, saying: "Today, we held a bittersweet meeting as the Board. As a cement sector, we have suffered an unexpected loss. We remember with respect, condolences and gratitude the late Fatih Yücelik, who made valuable contributions to our association over many years and left his mark on important works through his visionary leadership. We offer our condolences to him, his family, his loved ones and our community."

TURÇIMENTO Board Chairman Fatih Yücelik passed away as a result of a traffic accident he had in Ankara in recent days.
