Turkish Ytong announces 2019 targets

Türk Ytong held its 48th Ytong Authorized Dealers Meeting under the theme 'Together Always at the Top'. At the 48th Ytong Authorized Dealers Meeting, where 2018 was reviewed, targets for 2019 were also announced. Authorized dealers who have worked with Ytong for many years and those who achieved significant success in 2018 received their awards at the end of the meeting. In his address at the meeting, Board Chairman Fethi Hinginar highlighted that despite currency fluctuations experienced in the second half of 2018, they completed construction of the Dilovası Factory. Hinginar stated: "As Türk Ytong, we closed 2018 by achieving our production capacity and sales volume targets despite all challenges. In 2019, we want to achieve these targets and increase our profitability as well. With production starting at the Dilovası Factory, I believe 2019 will be a year of growth and capacity expansion for Türk Ytong." Türk Ytong General Manager Gökhan Erel, who stated that Türk Ytong is one of the most innovative brands supporting the development and growth of the construction sector with its innovative products, continued: "With Türk Ytong's Dilovası Factory, our production capacity has reached 2 million cubic meters. Our facility, with its technology and capacity, will have modern equipment that will elevate the standards of our country's construction and autoclaved aerated concrete industry through the Ytong Academy Training Center and R&D Center to be housed within it. Ytong holds a very special position with its ability to innovate, brand value, marketing and communication capabilities. We must be aware of this strength. Drawing strength from this power, let us say 'Together Always at the Top'," he continued. Türk Ytong Deputy General Manager Tolga Öztoprak provided an evaluation of 2019 sales targets and information about newly developed products. At the awards ceremony held after the speeches, seniority plaques were presented to authorized dealers with tenure ranging from 5 to 35 years. Successful authorized dealers of 2018 were also awarded. Following the meeting, participants had the opportunity to see the beauties of Istanbul during a night tour organized to the Hagia Sophia Museum.
