"Turkey's fiber infrastructure ranks among Europe's fastest-growing networks"
Ümit Önal, Chief Executive Officer of Türk Telekom, stated: "We are building the future through our investments in innovative technologies. With our fiber network exceeding 482,000 kilometers nationwide and fiber coverage reaching 33.2 million households, we support the digitalization of individuals and institutions, providing a strategic advantage for 5G and next-generation technologies. We provide 1 Gbps access speed to more than 9 million households nationwide and deliver an average connection service exceeding 358 Mbps. We have connected 54 percent of our LTE base stations, which are of great importance for 5G, to fiber, already surpassing the 50 percent ratio projected globally for 2030. We see the results of our efforts to connect Turkey to the future in international research as well. According to the latest report by FTTH Council, one of the world's most prestigious organizations in the fiber ecosystem, Turkey ranks among Europe's 5 fastest-growing fiber infrastructure markets. According to the same report, Turkey ranks among the top 3 countries reaching fiber infrastructure to the most households among 39 European countries and among the top 4 countries with the most fiber subscribers."

"We are extending our pioneering role in Turkey's digital transformation beyond borders with TT International"
Önal stated: "As Türk Telekom, we are at the center of an ecosystem that develops and exports technology. While extending our pioneering role in Turkey's digital transformation journey to the international arena, we are positioning ourselves as an actor shaping the region's digital future. In line with this vision, through the protocol we signed last month, we are initiating the fiberization process of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. We are also building a digital bridge between Europe, the Middle East and Asia with our services that transcend country borders. Our international market player TT International contributes to our international access power with its approximately 50,000 km fiber network, which also includes submarine cables. With TT International's more than 135 presence points in 24 countries and over 200 business partners, we occupy a position at the center of major communication traffic.
