Turkish Pediatric Association and Orzax Join Forces in Kazakhstan

The Kazakhstan meeting, organized under the leadership of the Turkish Pediatrics Association (TPK) and with the unconditional support of Orzax, brought together numerous physicians who are experts in their field. Thanks to this interaction established between Turkish and Kazakh physicians, a solid foundation was laid for future joint research, clinical observations and educational projects.

The "Turkish Pediatric Association Kazakhstan Meeting," organized in collaboration with Turkish Pediatric Association, Astana Pediatric Association and S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University and with unconditional support from Orzax, took place on 25-26 October in Almati, Kazakhstan with the participation of more than 300 physicians.
The scientific content of the symposium was quite rich. Current and important pediatric topics such as Omega-3 and brain development in childhood, approach to acute gastroenteritis, use of vitamins and minerals in children, vitamin D, lower respiratory tract diseases, urinary tract infections, iron deficiency anemia and its treatment, approach to short stature and nutrition in rheumatological diseases were discussed.
The opening remarks of the 3-day program were made by Turkish Pediatric Association President Prof. Dr. Özgür Kasapçopur, Head of Pediatrics Department at S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University Dr. Tashenova Gulnara Talipovna, Vice President of Eurasian Pediatricians and Neonatologists Association Dr. Abdrakhmanova Sagıra Toksanbayevna and Orzax Foreign Trade Director Neslihan Hotoğlu.

TPK Board Member Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Aktuğlu Zeybek stated that sharing current data demonstrating the effects of Omega-3 in particular on brain development, attention and learning capacity made an important contribution to pediatric practice. Turkish Pediatric Association President Prof. Dr. Özgür Kasapçopur, in his assessments regarding the meeting, emphasized that knowledge can only be multiplied by sharing it at the international level, expressing that the meeting built bridges between the two countries.

Orzax Marketing and Corporate Communications Director Müge Turan characterized this gathering as a valuable platform bringing together the strong clinical experiences of both countries and noted that Orzax contributed to carrying the strength of Turkish medicine to the world. She also stated, "As Orzax, we will continue with determination to support scientific work of this kind and to invest in future health." Orzax Foreign Trade Director Neslihan Hotoğlu added that they consider contributing to the global health ecosystem through scientific meetings and collaborations as one of their most important missions. Hotoğlu stated, "As Orzax, we will continue to contribute to the global health ecosystem by reaching our science-based innovative products and scientific events in Kazakhstan to more than 50 countries, particularly focusing on child health."
This qualified meeting, which strengthened scientific interaction and international collaboration, once again demonstrated the importance of collective wisdom and multifaceted approach for healthier generations in pediatrics. Orzax will continue with determination to expand its contributions to child health by continuing its scientific meetings.
