Türk Henkel made a significant transformation at its Consumer Brands Factory in Ankara with a EUR 7 million investment. As part of this strategic move, the company consolidated its Consumer Brands production in Turkey under one roof at its Ankara facility. This resulted in a more modern, technologically advanced and sustainable production infrastructure at the factory.
Thanks to new machinery imported from Germany, the production capacity of the cosmetics facility where brands such as Gliss and Blendax are manufactured increased by 50 percent, while speed and efficiency were improved in operational processes. With this investment, Türk Henkel transitioned to a more flexible and agile supply chain management in Ankara.
Güray Yıldız, Chairman of the Executive Board of Türk Henkel and General Manager of Henkel Consumer Brands, made the following statement regarding the matter: "Consolidating our Consumer Brands production in Turkey under one roof at our Ankara Factory was a strategic decision we made to increase our operational efficiency and align our production capability with changing market needs. Through this, we have made strong progress in securing our long-term competitive strength. For a sustainable future in our country, we aim to create long-term value by simplifying our operations and optimizing production. This strategic step is a concrete demonstration of our commitment to strengthening our presence in Turkey, as well as our vision of providing proactive solutions to changing needs in the local market. In this context, the investment exceeding EUR 21 million we have made in our Ankara facility over the past five years also reflects the long-term perspective behind our strategy."

Production with Autonomous Production Systems…
Production processes at Türk Henkel's Ankara Consumer Brands Factory are carried out with autonomous production systems. Thanks to fully integrated and automated lines, high standards are maintained in both production speed and quality control processes. These systems represent an important technology transformation that minimizes error margins in production lines while eliminating risks in terms of occupational safety. This infrastructure supported by autonomous systems is shaped in line with Henkel's digitalization and sustainability objectives.
Integrated System That Also Produces Raw Materials In-House…
In the Sulfonation Facility within the Ankara Consumer Brands Factory, Türk Henkel produces SLES and LABSA raw materials used in its products. These raw materials, which form the basic input for many formulations from powder and liquid detergents to cosmetic products like shampoo, are produced on fully automated production lines that require no human intervention. Through this facility, Henkel demonstrates integrated production capacity not only by producing its final products but also by producing the basic building blocks of these products in-house. The raw materials produced here contribute to Henkel's global production network not only in production processes in Ankara but also in factories in different countries.
