Tüpraş to Supply Istanbul Airport with 1.8 Million Tons of Jet Fuel Annually

The results of the tender organized by İGA Istanbul Airport Fuel Services Inc. for the supply of jet fuel needed by Istanbul Airport have been announced. Tüpraş has won the right to supply 1.8 million tons of jet fuel annually to Istanbul Airport for a period of 5 years. Tüpraş General Manager İbrahim Yelmenoğlu, commenting on the matter, said: "We are working with all our efforts to continue meeting our country's fuel needs uninterrupted. With this tender, we are proud that we are meeting a large part of Istanbul Airport's jet fuel needs and contributing to closing our country's current account deficit." Furthermore, Yelmenoğlu stated: "We believe that Istanbul Airport, which ranks among the world's largest airports, will bring dynamism to the sector. As Tüpraş, we will continue to provide our new airport with the highest level of service through our logistical advantages in sea and rail transportation."
