Adil Sani Konukoğlu Elected Chairman of TOBB Cement Council
The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkish Cement and Cement Products Assembly held elections for its Presidential Board. As a result of the election, Adil Sani Konukoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çimko Çimento ve Beton San. Tic. A.Ş., was elected Chairman of the TOBB Turkish Cement and Cement Products Assembly.
Elections held for TOBB Turkey Cement and Cement Products Council Presidency Board. Following the election results, Adil Sani Konukoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çimko Çimento ve Beton San. Tic. A.Ş., was elected to the Presidency of the TOBB Turkey Cement and Cement Products Council.
The Council Meeting and Presidency Board Election organized within TOBB was held in Ankara with the participation of sector representatives. In the elections held, the Presidency Board was restructured, and assessments regarding the sector's roadmap for the upcoming term were also addressed.
Following the election process, statements emphasized the importance of sustainable growth in the cement sector, increasing global competitiveness, and strengthening public-private sector cooperation.
It was stated that in the new term, the TOBB Turkey Cement and Cement Products Council will continue its work in line with the sector's common objectives.
