Green Up Programme Begins

Green Up Program Launches The "Green Up Sustainable Green Growth" program is launching within TİM-TEB Enterprise House. Through this program, startups operating in the sustainability sector will be supported. Turkey Exporters Assembly (TİM) and Turkish Economy Bank (TEB) have achieved another first. TİM and TEB are launching the "Green Up Sustainable Green Growth Program" to provide end-to-end support for startups operating in the sustainability sector. Green Up Program to Support Sustainability-Focused Startups The "Green Up Sustainable Green Growth Program," resulting from the TİM-TEB collaboration, launches in June. The program consists of two separate components. A Start Up program will be implemented for early-stage startups, while a Scale Up program will be applied to advanced startups with global growth ambitions. The Green Up program comprises 4 main sections—program introduction meeting where stakeholders and entrepreneurs gather, strategy and investment/impact investing training, one-on-one business model consulting, and closing meeting—and will run for 5 months. Gülle said, "With the goal of 'Sustainable Turkey in Every Field,' we continue to accelerate our efforts to brand our country in terms of sustainability. We will be pioneers in Turkey's green economic transformation." "We Will Support Them With Comprehensive Topics for Global Expansion" Turkey Exporters Assembly (TİM) Chairman İsmail Gülle conveyed that various activities for sustainable exports are being carried out under the "TİM Sustainability Action Plan," which was shared with the public on 21 June 2021 with the message "Producing for the World Without Consuming the World." Gülle stated: "As TİM-TEB Enterprise House, since our establishment under the sustainability banner, we have supported many startups. We are proud to have supported dozens of highly successful startups, including Biolive from Istanbul Enterprise House, producing bio-based plastics from olive pits; B-Preg from İzmir Enterprise House, producing natural fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite materials for vehicle weight reduction in the automotive sector; Airmed from Denizli Enterprise House, producing advanced imaging and drone solutions and artificial intelligence-supported plant analysis software for high-efficiency agricultural production; Texture Orginal from Gaziantep Enterprise House, producing organic dyes from fruit and vegetable waste and using the dyes in both fabric dyeing and perfume/cologne sectors; İnavitas from Ankara Enterprise House, developing energy management intelligence; BrenPower from Bursa Enterprise House, providing wireless sensor technologies integrated with artificial intelligence for real-time monitoring of steam traps, heat exchangers, cooling towers, and machine health; and Agrikey from Mersin Enterprise House, producing Turkey's first biological and organic liquid fertilizers and exporting the majority of its products. This year, for the first time, we are opening 2 new accelerator programs through which we will provide end-to-end support for startups offering sustainability-focused solutions. Through this program, we will nourish startups with both training and consulting, while at the same time supporting them with comprehensive topics for global expansion," he said.
