TİM to Support "National Solidarity Campaign"
| The Turkish Exporters Assembly, which supported Turkey's fight against Coronavirus through the "Production Mobilisation for Turkey's Health" campaign, has now announced its support for the "National Solidarity Campaign" launched by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The Turkish Exporters Assembly will provide TRY 15 million in support to the campaign through 61 exporter associations. Turkish Exporters Assembly Chair İsmail Gülle made the following statement regarding the matter: "In order to overcome these difficult times we are experiencing, we need to stand together with unity, solidarity and mutual support as the Turkish nation. In this comprehensive struggle being conducted by all institutions of our country, we, the Turkish Exporters Assembly, are at our posts with our 61 exporter associations. Last week, under the slogan 'We have been producing for our exports until now, now we are producing for our health,' we launched a production mobilisation to manufacture 1 million medical masks and 100,000 litres of disinfectant daily. In response to our President's call, we declare that we will make a donation of TRY 15 million on behalf of our 95,000 members. As we have done before, we will continue to accept and carry out whatever falls to us as the field forces of exports on behalf of our country. We will overcome these difficult times together with mutual support, 'We are self-sufficient, Turkey.'" |
