TEV Offers Outstanding Achievement Arts Scholarship

TEV Awards Excellence in Arts Scholarship Turkish Education Foundation continues to award Excellence in Arts Scholarships to support future leaders in the arts field. The deadline for applications for scholarships available to students enrolled in designated departments at Conservatories and Fine Arts Faculties who have successfully advanced to their second year is 2 October 2022. Turkish Education Foundation has opened applications for Excellence in Arts Scholarships granted to successful and financially disadvantaged students enrolled at Conservatories and Fine Arts Faculties. Students enrolled in Piano, Harp, Guitar, String Instruments, Wind and Percussion Instruments and Voice departments at Conservatories and Fine Arts Faculties, as well as Plastic Arts (Painting, Sculpture, Graphic Design, Calligraphy, Ceramics) departments with work in digital arts and a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 in their first year can benefit from Excellence in Arts Scholarships. Candidates subject to preliminary evaluation by TEV General Management may also be invited to face-to-face or online interviews to be assessed by a jury composed of expert faculty members in their field. Those wishing to apply for the scholarship must complete the TEV Excellence in Arts Scholarship form on the website www.tev.org.tr by 2 October and follow the procedure to be sent to them by TEV via SMS or email. TEV has also increased its support to scholarship recipients this year. Accordingly, the Excellence in Arts Scholarship granted to high-achieving students has been increased to TRY 2,650 per month.       Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) was established on 4 May 1967 under the leadership of the late Vehbi Koç by 205 Turkish intellectuals dedicated to education. TEV, which supports pioneering youth who will contribute to Turkey and humanity by providing scholarship support to successful students with limited financial means and supports the education system in which they will develop, has provided approximately 260,000 domestic and 2,000 foreign scholarships since its establishment. Turkish Education Foundation, which supports its contributions to education by constructing 31 educational facilities, also took over İnanç Lyceum, established to provide necessary education at secondary level to high-achieving and high-potential students in Turkey in 2001, and the school continues its educational activities under the name TEV İnanç Türkeş Private Lyceum (TEVİTÖL). Turkish Education Foundation expanded its scope of operations by opening girls' dormitories in Izmir, Trabzon and Ankara under Turkish Education Foundation Student Dormitories Economic Enterprise.
