TİM Booth Takes Its Place at TEKNOFEST

TİM Booth Set Up at TEKNOFEST Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) has taken its place at TEKNOFEST Istanbul, Turkey's first and only aviation, space and technology festival, with projects displayed at the TİM booth attracting significant interest. TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe emphasized that TEKNOFEST is organized with the partnership of many organizations playing a role in national technology development in Turkey, and stated that they have provided full support to this process. Mustafa Gültepe, noting that the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, first held in 2018, has showcased Turkey's technology face, said: "We have supported TEKNOFEST from day one, aiming to raise awareness in Turkey's process of becoming a society that produces and develops technology. We see it as an extremely important platform for opening new horizons to our young people. At this year's Teknofest held at Atatürk Airport, we are presenting 19 different entrepreneurs from our TİM-TEB Entrepreneurship Houses, 4 projects from İnovaTİM and the İnovaTİM Formula vehicle at our booth. Our booth is attracting great interest from young people. During the event, we are organizing 7 different workshops, 3 panel discussions, hackathons and educational programs. Hundreds of young people from Ankara, Gaziantep, Samsun, Trabzon, İzmir, Erzurum, Antalya, Kocaeli, Tekirdağ, Yalova, Bursa, Ankara, Edirne and Kırklareli are joining us with enthusiasm, especially our students from İnovaTİM."

TEKNOFEST 2023 İnovaTİM Projects

Four İNOVATİM projects are featured at the TİM booth, where the Formula vehicle is displayed—the one that completed the competition as Turkey's first place winner and the world's third-place finisher in the Formula Student UK Class 2 category: KOZALAK: Provides forest fire risk assessment and early fire detection. KEMURSGEN: Aims to reduce the impact of harmful insects in industrial greenhouse farming. CREATINY: Autonomous unmanned surface vehicle capable of performing tasks such as location tracking, object detection, obstacle avoidance and return to home. SEM: New-generation energy storage that is one-quarter the cost of alternative batteries, environmentally friendly and safe.

TİM-TEB Entrepreneurship House Entrepreneurs at TEKNOFEST 2023

Nineteen different entrepreneurs from our TİM-TEB Entrepreneurship Houses also participated at TEKNOFEST Istanbul. Among these entrepreneurs, the standout projects are: UPTECHLABS: With LED lighting units developed specifically for plants, it is establishing plant production facilities that produce maximum yield in minimum space using 95 percent less water without using any agricultural chemicals. APOLLO: Turkey's first cloud-based invoice verification, optimization and forecasting platform. It offers electricity rate advantages suited to operating characteristics calculated using past consumption data with easy integration without infrastructure and hardware costs. TEOSOFT CBS: A software company that works on interpreting geographic data and produces geographic-based projects compatible with new technologies. ARTIWISE: A technology firm operating in artificial intelligence and natural language processing. HEVİ AI: A startup that automatically detects strokes in radiological brain images using artificial intelligence. QUAKECOM: An emergency communication system that transmits to the disaster coordination center the location of buildings destroyed after earthquakes, the number of people trapped under debris and their personal information in real time.
