Sözal Kimya Ranks in 'R&D 250' List The "Turkey R&D 250" list, which tracks the pulse of Turkish business's R&D spending, has been announced. Sözal Kimya, one of Bursa's leading chemical companies known for its commitment to R&D, ranked among the 58 Bursa firms included in the 500 companies with the highest R&D spending in 2021. Results from the "Turkey R&D Research" conducted by the Economy and Business Portal Turkishtime for the 9th time this year have been announced. Sözal Kimya, which established its R&D center in 2017 and prioritizes innovation work with its 30-person team, was listed among the 58 Bursa companies ranked in the top 500 companies with the highest R&D spending in 2021. Sözal Kimya, a producer of textile auxiliary chemicals, ranked in the list with R&D spending of TRY 2,833,627 in 2021 and a planned R&D budget of TRY 4,250,000 for 2022. According to the research measuring R&D spending in Turkey since 2013, R&D spending by the top 500 companies reached approximately TRY 17 billion. In 2021, prioritizing R&D investment, Sözal Kimya demonstrated growth performance in production and R&D.
