Şişecam Named Export Champion

Şişecam, one of Türkiye's long-established industrial companies, was awarded the export leader prize in the "Cement, Glass, Ceramics and Soil Products" category at the "Champions of Exports" Award Ceremony organized by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM).

Başar Tırpancı, Deputy General Manager of Sales at Şişecam, a global player in the glass and chemicals sectors, received the award from Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek and TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe.
USD 938 million export performance
In 2025, Şişecam achieved consolidated net sales of TRY 225 billion, demonstrating its strong position in international markets with USD 938 million in export performance. The company's sales in foreign currency, including exports, accounted for 59.34% of total sales in the same period.
During the same period, Şişecam made investments of TRY 35.8 billion and maintained its production capacity, achieving production of 5.6 million tons of glass, 4.3 million tons of soda ash and 4 million tons of industrial raw materials.
This success once again demonstrated Şişecam's high value-added production approach, competitive strength in global markets, and sustainable growth strategy.
