Sika Türkiye celebrates Sika Day simultaneously across Turkey

Sika, which has been working for 113 years to increase durability in building and industrial applications and to improve both energy and material efficiency, celebrated Sika Day on 11 June simultaneously in 103 countries. At the Sika Day event where Sika's culture and strong values were celebrated simultaneously worldwide, Sika Turkey also held concurrent celebrations with all its employees across Turkey. The "Sika Spirit" was brought to life across the country through events themed around teamwork, social responsibility and occupational safety. The event, themed "One team, many voices and going beyond expectations," began with an interactive rhythm workshop in which all employees participated. In the workshop, which was conducted through teamwork and to which each employee contributed, rhythm was created together. Sika Turkey General Manager Turgay Özkun added: "We are a magnificent global team and every voice matters at Sika."

Sika EMEA Executive Team celebrated Sika Day in Turkey

Following the opening speech by Sika Turkey General Manager Turgay Özkun, AREA Middle East Manager Bora Yıldırım and EMEA Regional Manager Christoph Ganz spoke. In his remarks, Ganz underlined that the EMEA Executive Team, consisting of 10 people, chose to participate in Sika Day celebrations in Turkey.

Employee Satisfaction Survey Results Shared

Sika AG CEO Thomas Hasler and Head HR, Legal & Compliance Raffaella Marzi shared the results of the Employee Satisfaction Survey, which was conducted across the entire Sika Group and in which more than 28,200 Sika employees worldwide participated, via video interview. Hasler stated that the survey results demonstrated strong commitment to contributing to Sika's growth and future success, with a participation rate as high as 86%. 75 Kilograms of Waste Material Recycled as Part of World Environment Day As part of Sika Day 2024, waste collected in the Beykoz Riva Gelara Beach Coastline Cleaning Project conducted on World Environment Day was sorted for recycling of plastic, glass, paper and metal materials, with a total of 75 kilograms collected. Theatre Performance on Occupational Safety Received Great Interest

Özkun, referring to Sika's commitment to putting occupational safety first under all circumstances, said: "The safety, wellbeing and health of our employees and stakeholders is a prerequisite for our Group's success." The occupational safety-themed theatre performance at Sika Turkey, which was scripted based on daily dialogues taking place at Sika, was watched with great interest by all employees. Özkun continued his remarks as follows: "At Sika, we believe in developing a culture where everyone feels valued. We are one team, we have many voices and together we go beyond expectations."
