Turgay Özkun Appointed General Manager of Sika Turkey

Turgay ÖZKUN was appointed to the position of General Manager of Sika Türkiye effective 1 March 2018. Following the appointment of Bora Yıldırım, who has served as General Manager of Sika Türkiye since 2009, to the position of Middle East Regional Manager effective 1 March 2018, the vacant position of General Manager of Sika Türkiye will be filled by Turgay Özkun as of the same date. Özkun, who has served as Concrete Target Market Manager at Sika Türkiye since 2012, began his career at Sika Türkiye in 2004 as a Product Engineer. Turgay Özkun was subsequently promoted to the position of Marketing and Technical Services Manager, taking on important roles in increasing Sika's market share in Turkey's concrete sector and expanding its customer base, and delivering successful results. A graduate of the Civil Engineering Department from Yıldız Technical University Faculty of Engineering and holding an MBA degree from Yeditepe University, Turgay Özkun, following the announcement of his appointment, expressed his pride at being appointed General Manager and stated that he would continue his efforts to advance Sika's success in Turkey, as a global leader in building chemicals and industrial adhesives.
