Schneider Electric Unveils New Data Center Solutions

Schneider Electric announced new data center solutions specifically designed to meet the intensive demands of next-generation artificial intelligence compute cluster architectures. Expanding its EcoStruxure™ Data Center Solutions portfolio, the company introduced the prefabricated modular EcoStruxure Pod Data Center solution, which combines infrastructure such as liquid cooling, high-power busway and high-density NetShelter Rack systems.
Schneider Electric has announced new data centre solutions specifically designed to meet the intense demands of next-generation artificial intelligence processing cluster architectures. The company has expanded its EcoStruxure™ Data Center Solutions portfolio by introducing the pre-manufactured modular EcoStruxure Pod Data Centre solution, which combines infrastructure including liquid cooling, high-power busway and high-density NetShelter Cabinet systems.
Additionally, EcoStruxure Cabinet Solutions include detailed cabinet configurations and custom frame designs to accelerate high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence-focused data centre deployments. The new EcoStruxure Pod Data Centre and EcoStruxure Cabinet Solutions are now available for use worldwide.
Enterprises face extreme cabinet power densities when establishing artificial intelligence clusters, with density expected to exceed 1 MW. Schneider Electric's new solution series provides customers with integrated, data-driven and easily scalable white space solutions to address emerging challenges in module and cabinet design, power distribution and thermal management.

New Product Overview
• Pre-Manufactured Modular EcoStruxure Pod Data Centre: A pre-manufactured and scalable pod architecture enabling operators to deploy high-density cabinets at scale; supporting pods of 1 MW and above. The custom-designed new pod infrastructure offers flexibility while supporting liquid cooling, power busway, complex cabling with hot aisle containment, InRow and rear door heat exchanger cooling architectures. The Pre-Manufactured Modular EcoStruxure Pod Data Centre ships with all components pre-designed and assembled for rapid installation to support high-density workloads.
• EcoStruxure Cabinet Solutions: These reliable and high-density cabinet systems comply with EIA, ORV3 and NVIDIA MGX modular design standards approved by leading IT chip and server manufacturers. Configurations support a wide range of power and cooling distribution schemes, featuring in-cabinet cooling solutions equipped with Schneider Electric's Motivair liquid cooling technology and new expanded cabinet and power distribution products.
o NetShelter SX Advanced Cabinet: The new product series consists of taller, deeper and more durable cabinets to meet increasing weight, cabling and infrastructure requirements. NetShelter SX Advanced features enhanced load rating and is protected with shock-absorbing packaging to ensure safe transport of artificial intelligence servers and liquid cooling systems.
o NetShelter Cabinet PDU Advanced: These power distribution units have been updated to meet the high-current power requirements of artificial intelligence servers and are designed for efficient cabinet arrangements. NetShelter Cabinet PDU Advanced offers compact vertical and horizontal models with more dedicated circuits. Intelligent operational features provided through Schneider Electric's Network Management Card enhance security while enabling seamless integration with EcoStruxure IT.
o NetShelter Open Architecture: Developed with inspiration from the Open Compute Project (OCP), this cabinet architecture is offered as a customizable solution including open cabinet standards, power enclosure and in-cabinet busbar. Additionally, a new Schneider Electric cabinet system has been developed to support the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 system using NVIDIA MGX architecture. This system enables Schneider Electric's first integration with NVIDIA's HGX and MGX ecosystems.
