Schneider Electric 2024 Sustainability Impact Awards Application Deadline Extended

●       Schneider Electric invites its business partners, customers and suppliers in Turkey to apply for the 2024 Sustainability Impact Awards. The application deadline has been extended from 15 October 2024 to 1 November 2024 due to high demand.

●       Candidates will be evaluated on how they have achieved results through strategy development, digitalization and decarbonization.

●       Schneider Electric 2024 Sustainability Impact Awards winners will be determined at country, regional and global levels, with results announced in early 2025.

●       In the 2023 program, three of the six finalists in the MEA (Middle East and Africa) region were from Turkey.

Schneider Electric, a leader in energy management and digital transformation in automation, announced that applications for the third edition of the Sustainability Impact Awards are continuing. Launched in 2022, the awards recognize the contributions of Schneider Electric's business partners, customers and suppliers in creating a more sustainable and electrified world. The application deadline, previously announced as 15 October 2024, has been extended to 1 November 2024 due to high demand for the awards. Winners of the Schneider Electric Sustainability Impact Awards at country, regional and global levels will be announced in early 2025.

The application and selection criteria reflect Schneider's integrated approach to sustainability. While the award program's focus is on decarbonization through electrification, reduction and substitution efforts, it also takes a broader view of initiatives aimed at creating the Electricity 4.0 future through strategy development, digitalization and decarbonization actions. The award program also includes examples of increased energy efficiency, implementation of digital tools and technologies, and other examples of impact and innovation.

Noting that three of the six finalists in the MEA (Middle East and Africa) region in 2023 were from Turkey, İsmail Yamangil, Schneider Electric Turkey and Central Asia Region President, said, "This success demonstrates the achievements of our business partners, suppliers and customers in Turkey in the field of sustainability and their leadership in this area. For this reason, we invite all our stakeholders in Turkey to participate in the Schneider Electric 2024 Sustainability Impact Awards, of which we will hold the third edition this year."

How to Apply

Applications are accepted through the Schneider Electric website, with the final application date set as 1 November 2024 (you can apply via this link). All candidates and applications will be shortlisted for country awards, then country winners will enter regional finals and ultimately be evaluated for the global award. Global winners will be announced in April 2025.

The award program held last year received more than 400 applications from 60 countries, with 12 companies selected for the Global Sustainability Impact Awards and winners announced at the Schneider Electric Innovation Summit in Paris on 3 April 2024.
