Sapi Group Decides to Invest in Turkey

SAPI GROUP, a Germany-based company with 50 years of experience in the blasting and painting systems market, has decided to invest in Turkey. In a statement made by SAPI GROUP Board Chairman Marcel Fertl and SAPI Turkey Founding Partner and General Manager Çiğdem Arslan, they announced the Turkey investment of Germany-based Sapi Group, which is celebrating its 50th year in the surface treatment technology market. Founded in 1970 by Klaus Fertl, Sapi Gmbh has been providing professional services in the global blasting systems market for 50 years. The company achieved market leadership in a short time through correct and quality projects that met market needs. With growing demand, it expanded its distribution network by establishing companies in 6 countries outside Germany. In 2020, Sapi Group decided to open a factory in Turkey and expand its sales network. With this decision, the company made its third factory investment while expanding its distribution network in the global market. Sapi Group currently has investments in 7 countries with its headquarters in Germany. In addition to its own companies, it has distributorships and technical service points in many regions worldwide. In response to questions about the investment plan from Sapi Group Board Chairman Marcel Fertl, he emphasized that blasting and painting systems meeting the requirements of the era would be more accessible for the Turkey and Middle East market, and that Turkey is an important location from a logistics standpoint. Stating that they plan to start this year in a 3,000 m² enclosed area and forecasting that a manufacturing team of at least 100 people will work at the Turkey factory after one year, Fertl noted that the partnership with Arslan, who has signed successful projects in the surface technology market for many years, is exciting for Sapi Group.
