Şahap Kavcıoğlu Pays Visit to TİM

Visit to TİM by Şahap Kavcıoğlu Evaluating the meeting, TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe, stated: "Today, Central Bank Governor Prof. Dr. Şahap Kavcıoğlu visited our Foreign Trade Complex and met with our exporters. As TİM Chairman, I find today's consultation and dialogue environment extremely valuable. We attach importance to maintaining strong dialogue between our exporters and public institutions" he said. Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Governor Şahap Kavcıoğlu met with Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) Chairman Mustafa Gültepe and export representatives at the TİM Foreign Trade Complex. The meeting, which was also attended by TİM Board Members and Union Heads, discussed current export issues and recent developments in global trade. TCMB Governor Kavcıoğlu answered exporters' questions following his remarks and engaged in mutual exchange of views.

We believe that through this, the issues of our exporters will be resolved swiftly" he expressed.       Turkish Exporters Assembly The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) is the umbrella organization of our Exporter Unions, which is based on the Live Animal Exporters Union Turkish Joint Stock Company, established by decree dated 4 March 1937 and numbered 2/6107, issued under the instructions of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, in order to direct Turkey's foreign trade, determine export policy, develop market diversity and facilitate exporters' competitiveness in the international arena. TİM is the sole umbrella organization of Turkish exports, representing over 100,000 exporters across 27 sectors and 61 Exporter Unions. Our Assembly, established by Cabinet decision in 1993, continues its activities under the framework of the Law published in the Official Gazette in 2009 (3 July 2009, Official Gazette, Issue: 27277, Law No. 5910 Law on the Establishment and Duties of the Turkish Exporters Assembly and Exporter Unions).
