Rönesans Enerji Signs Storage Investment Agreement with Alarko Gotion Green Energy
Rönesans Enerji has signed a major cooperation agreement with Alarko Gotion Green Energy as part of its energy storage investments. Under the agreement, Alarko Gotion will supply the battery energy storage systems to be used at the Sibel Wind Power Plant.
Rönesans Enerji has signed a significant partnership with Alarko Gotion Green Energy as part of its investments in energy storage. Under the agreement, battery energy storage systems for use at the Sibel Rüzgar Energy Power Plant will be supplied by Alarko Gotion.
Under the agreement, high-performance battery systems, power conversion systems (PCS), energy management systems (EMS) and transformer equipment will be supplied turnkey for the power plant with 88 MW installed capacity.
Efficiency and flexibility in renewable energy will increase
Through energy storage systems, the aim is to reduce imbalances resulting from production fluctuations in wind energy, enable energy to be used when needed, and increase grid reliability. This will strengthen both operational efficiency and supply security.
Contribution to Turkey's energy transition
Alarko Gotion Green Energy aims to contribute to Turkey's renewable energy ecosystem through advanced technology solutions it has developed. The partnership is viewed as an important step in the widespread adoption of energy storage technologies, and both parties are expected to continue increasing their investments in this field.
