Robotaxi Passenger Autonomous Vehicle Competition Begins

Türkiye's first Aviation, Space and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST hosts the fifth Robotic Taxi Autonomous Vehicle Competition, which has begun. The competition takes place on a track at the Informatics Valley Campus in Gebze, Kocaeli, where 31 teams that qualified for the finals will compete. In races held in two categories, 8 vehicles in the "Ready Vehicle" category took to the track and competed against each other. On the second day of the competition, 23 teams in the "Original Vehicle" category will take to the track. Prize money will be awarded as follows: in the Original Vehicle category, first place TRY 130,000, second place TRY 110,000, third place TRY 90,000; in the Ready Vehicle category, first place TRY 100,000, second place TRY 80,000, and third place TRY 60,000.   Source
