The Competition Authority has approved the sale of Polisan Holding's majority stake. The company's 77.7268% majority shares were transferred to CoreX, a Netherlands-based company owned by Yüksel Yıldırım.
Polisan Holding, one of Turkey's established group companies with roots dating back to 1956, announced a significant development regarding the transfer of its majority stake. In a statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) by the company, it was announced that the Competition Board approved the share transfer transaction. Thus, with the preliminary conditions fulfilled in the sale process that began on 27 June 2025, the company's sale became official.
The statement indicated that an agreement was reached between the parties regarding the transfer of shares representing 77.7268% of Polisan Holding's capital to Corex Ports and Terminals Dilovası Port Operations Inc., a subsidiary of Corex Holding B.V. CoreX operates in ten sectors including mining, ports and terminals, green energy, maritime shipping and logistics, infrastructure and construction, oil and gas, chemicals, international trade, financial investments and venture capital. Operating across 5 continents and 55 countries, the company employs more than 20,000 people worldwide.
With this development, one more of the necessary legal permits has been completed under the Share Transfer Agreement. In the special situation disclosure, it was stated that further developments will be shared with the public following the completion of the remaining stages of the process.
