Putech Eurasia and Eurasian Composites Show Exhibitions Open
Turkey's "national technology initiative" launched to reach 2023 targets includes critical sectors, bringing together leaders in polyurethane and composites at the Putech Eurasia and Eurasian Composites Show trade fairs.
The polyurethane industry fair Putech Eurasia 2019 (6th International Polyurethane Industry Fair) and Eurasian Composites Show 2019 (4th International Composite Raw Materials, Semi-Finished Products, Products and Technologies Fair), the professional meeting point for the composites industry in Eurasia, opened with 203 participants from 21 different countries.
The polyurethane and composites sectors, important for Turkey's "national technology initiative," represent a market exceeding USD 3 billion in Turkey. Both sectors grow between 10-12 percent annually. Growth rates are expected to accelerate further with increased technology adoption.
Europe's Sector Leader to Speak
Key figures from the polyurethane sector will meet at a panel at Putech Eurasia and Eurasian Composites Show. Bart ten Brink, Chairman of the European Flexible Polyurethane Foam Block Manufacturers Association (EUROPUR), Dr. Başar Yıldız, Board Member of Flokser Kimya, Cavidan Karaca, CEO of Kimteks Polyurethane, Mehmet Şişmanoğlu, General Manager of Pürplast, and Levent Atmaca, Director of DOW Turkey Polyurethane Systems House, will discuss the present and future of the polyurethane market, R&D activities and market competition. At panels focusing on industry innovations, the role and importance of composites and polyurethane in Turkey's national technology initiative will be addressed. Polyurethane, with its unique properties such as insulation, formability and fire resistance, maintains its presence "in every area of life" – from aircraft to structures, from footwear to electronics, from automotive to defense, medical to sports. Composites, noted for rapid development in Turkey's defense industry, are increasingly preferred for the exceptional durability they provide – from construction to renewable energy, from land, sea and air transport to railways. The fairs will be open for visits at Istanbul Fair Centre between 10:00 and 18:00. Detailed information about the fairs and events is available on their websites, and free online visitor registration can be completed there.Advertisement
