VAT Special Consumption Tax on Propane Purchases Reduced to Zero

Liquefied propane used in propylene production will not be subject to Special Consumption Tax (SCT) when purchased. A presidential decree determining the Special Consumption Tax (SCT) amount to be applied on propane deliveries was published in the Official Gazette. According to this decree, the SCT amount on deliveries of liquefied propane for use in propylene production will be zero. The implementation will become effective as of October. Source: Sözcü
