The Happy Place to Work 2022 Research, conducted by Happy Place to Work and measuring workplace happiness, has been completed. The happiest workplace in the port operations sector is Poliport, a subsidiary of Polisan Holding, which has been operating in the Kocaeli Gulf Region for over 50 years.
Poliport General Manager Efe Hatay, evaluating the results of the index created from the outputs of a survey consisting of 14 questions on the topics of success, pride, and trust, stated: "Being selected as the happiest workplace in an industry where attention and concentration are at the highest levels made us extremely proud. Creating a happy working environment is not something a single manager can accomplish alone. We are talking about an environment where all employees must work together and make efforts to create. At Poliport, in line with Polisan Holding's human resources strategy, we strive to organize our management processes around 'participation.' We continuously question the expectations of our managers, employees, and business partners and try to be able to respond to these expectations. I believe this understanding is the cornerstone of creating a healthy and happy working environment... Listening to everyone and being responsive."
Efe Hatay also mentioned the "Common Culture Initiative Program" that they have successfully implemented and stated: "Through the 'Common Culture Initiative Program' conducted under the Polisan Holding umbrella and successfully implemented across all subsidiaries, we asked our community members what kind of Polisan they wanted. We individually evaluated and prioritized the feedback we received. We integrated it with our strategic priorities. We will continue to uphold participatory management, shared decision-making, and our high occupational safety principles tomorrow as we did yesterday, and we will strengthen and develop this commitment. At Poliport, we place great importance on long-term partnership and moving toward common goals with mutual trust. With all our managers and employees, we will continue to do our best to implement and sustain this common culture created at Polisan Holding in the field."
