Pierre Fabre İlaç Türkiye Holds Regional Meeting in Cappadocia

Turkey's leading pharmaceutical company Pierre Fabre İlaç (PFİ) held its periodic meeting in Cappadocia, Nevşehir between 7-9 May. The meeting began with an assessment presentation by Pierre Fabre İlaç Türkiye General Manager Hande Demirdere and continued with the launch of three new products. Pierre Fabre İlaç Türkiye announced the launch of three new products within its Consumer Health Division during the periodic meeting. With a team of 60 staff members, the company convened to assess sector analyses and organized training meetings to update medical information on existing products. Planning to strengthen and expand its experience in the pharmaceutical field with dietary supplements starting in 2018, Pierre Fabre İlaç presented "Urisanol Cranberry Capsule", "Urisanol Flash" and "Elgydium Clinic Xeroleave Dry Mouth Spray" — products designed to address significant health needs. Pierre Fabre's two new products aim to assist in the treatment of urinary tract infections, one of the most common significant health problems in the population. Urisanol Cranberry Capsule, containing 36 mg Pro-Anthocyanidins as the active ingredient from cranberry fruit, and Urisanol Flash, which will appear for the first time in Turkey with its cranberry and five different essential oils, will provide powerful natural support for physicians, pharmacists and patients alike. Another product introduced at the periodic meeting, "Elgydium Clinic Xeroleave Dry Mouth Spray", offers a soothing solution to dry mouth (xerostomia), a condition frequently encountered due to aging, medication use and radiotherapies. It has a highly reliable formulation as it does not contain auxiliary substances such as alcohol, SLS, parabens, sweeteners and colorants. This new product, which will be presented by three different teams (oncology, oral care and primary care) across their respective specializations, complements the company's existing medicines. For patients frequently experiencing dry mouth, "Elgydium Clinic Xeroleave Dry Mouth Spray" becomes available at the end of May.
