paintistanbul & Turkcoat 2018 International Congress to Be Held on 20-21 March 2018 at InterContinental Hotel Istanbul

The paintistanbul & Turkcoat Congresses represent a continuous presence in their field and are the country's only international congresses dedicated to the paints and raw materials sector. These congresses serve as a bridge between universities and industrial institutions. In this capacity, they function as a platform where scientific research aimed at strengthening the technological structure of the sector is discussed and where developments in science and technology are shared with technical personnel in the sector. The paintistanbul & Turkcoat International Congresses are held every two years. The number of domestic participants has grown steadily each year. At the previous congress, participant numbers exceeded 400. The Congress Scientific Board is organized with the contributions of five foreign members from abroad and twenty-four members from within the country. The Congresses, organized in accordance with the development dynamics and structural characteristics of the paints and raw materials sector, feature presentations on scientific and technical advances in the sector. The paintistanbul & Turkcoat 2018 International Congress is expected to attract significant interest, as has been the case with previous congresses. In addition to oral presentations by domestic and foreign expert speakers, the Congress includes a session featuring poster presentations. Researchers who add value to the Congress through poster presentations display their posters on panels during this session and answer questions from participants about their work. Alongside oral and poster presentations, our congresses also feature "Paint School" sessions tailored to areas where the sector requires knowledge development. The Paint School sessions, which attract considerable interest and participation, provide intensive information transfer to Congress participants within their session themes. Due to high interest, the Congress Scientific Board has decided to increase the number of Paint School sessions for the 2018 Congress. The Paint School sessions at the paintistanbul & Turkcoat 2018 International Congress are planned to run for a full day on 19 March 2018, the day before the Congress. The paintistanbul & Turkcoat 2018 International Congress sessions are expected to include eight invited speakers from abroad.
