Yavuz Eroğlu Re-elected Chairman of PAGEV

PAGEV held its 2025 ordinary general assembly in Istanbul with broad participation from sector representatives. Following the elections held during the general assembly, incumbent president Yavuz Eroğlu was reelected to the presidency by unanimous vote, renewing confidence in his leadership.

Emphasis on collective wisdom and strong representation in the sector
During Yavuz Eroğlu's presidency, it was noted that coordination in the plastics sector strengthened, effective representation in public relations was secured, and a more active role was assumed on international platforms. During this period, PAGEV moved beyond being merely a representative body to become an influential structure in the sector's decision-making mechanisms.

Eroğlu's simultaneous positions, including his presidency of the TOBB Plastics, Rubber and Composites Industry Council and his board membership at the European Plastics Manufacturers Association, were highlighted as important factors that increased Turkey's representation power on global platforms. Through these roles, it was emphasized that Turkey has attained a position not only as a manufacturing nation but also as a stakeholder in shaping sector policies.

Support message for İKMİB elections
In his remarks at the general assembly, Eroğlu also addressed the elections of the Istanbul Chemical Substances and Products Exporters Association (İKMİB), noting that the candidacy of Vice President Burak Önder alongside İbrahim Vefa Arıcı was important from the sector's perspective. Eroğlu stated that PAGEV provided support to the candidates, emphasizing the importance of unity and harmony within the sector.
