OYAK Çimento Meets with Industry Representatives in Mardin

OYAK Çimento officials held an information meeting in Mardin on 10 August for Cementum, a low-carbon cement product offering resistance to environmental impacts, bringing together sector representatives and customers from Southeast Turkey. OYAK Çimento Sales and Production teams briefed ready-mix concrete producers and customers from Mardin, Diyarbakır, Batman, Şırnak and Şanlıurfa provinces on Cementum. At the event where technical information was shared on Cementum, a product offering resistance to environmental impacts with early and final high strength and low carbon emissions, it was noted that Cementum provides high workability in ready-mix concrete, demonstrates better performance in concretes exposed to environmental impacts, and is an ideal product for ready-mix concrete production, road pavements and general use. While Alfacem, Turkey's first CEM VI class product to receive G compliance certification in the cement sector, was launched on the market, attention was drawn to KarBeyaz, featuring low carbon content and high whiteness ratio, and Novocem, offering high resistance to environmental impacts, which were also products launched in 2023. OYAK Çimento today exports its products to 85 countries including the United States, Russia, Israel, Romania and Morocco. Through projects that reduce carbon emissions in production processes and final products, OYAK Çimento sets an example and leads the global cement sector with calcined clay technology featuring a low carbon footprint.
