Norther Global Logistics Targets 30% Growth
Norther Global Logistics (NGL) is targeting 30% growth in Denmark shipments this year. Efe Çavuşoğlu, Board Member of the company, stated that they serve export and import companies on the Denmark-Turkey lane with solutions best suited to their needs. Çavuşoğlu, noting that they provide their customers with competitive advantage through fast and cost-focused solutions, said, "In this way, we also contribute to further growth in record-breaking bilateral trade."
Standing out with its shipments between Northern European countries and Turkey, Norther Global Logistics (NGL) aims to increase its share in Denmark shipments this year. Conducting weekly regular services between Turkey and Denmark, the company offers tailored solutions for loads from different sectors through partial and full shipments.
Efe Çavuşoğlu, Board Member of NGL, noted that in the first half of this year they have gained rapid momentum in Denmark shipments and are targeting 30% growth on this lane by year-end compared to the previous year.
Drawing attention to Turkish State Institute of Statistics data showing that Turkey's exports to Denmark and imports from Denmark reached record levels last year, Çavuşoğlu said, "Exports increased by 25% to USD 1.3 billion, while imports rose by 29% to USD 1.1 billion. As NGL, we believe bilateral trade can grow even further. We contribute to trade growth with customised solutions for importers and exporters. We are making investments in line with this approach. This year we have focused on increasing our market share on the Denmark lane."
Strong growth strategy by target country
Çavuşoğlu said they operate weekly reciprocal services on the Denmark-Turkey lane, delivering import loads in 7-8 days and export loads in 8-9 days on a door-to-door basis. Noting that with their large fleets featuring various vehicle types they can transport loads from many sectors on a partial or full shipment basis, Çavuşoğlu stated, "Beyond transportation, we meet storage demands and provide value-added services such as barcoding and packaging. With our secure and cost-focused solutions, we provide our customers with competitive advantage." Çavuşoğlu added that as NGL they closely monitor global developments and the international logistics market, and continue to achieve strong growth through target-country-based strategies.Advertisement
