Central Bank Governor Meets with TİM Management

Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Governor Şahap Kavcıoğlu held a consultation meeting with TİM management via video conference. The meeting covered numerous important topics including export targets and the effects of the Russia-Ukraine war on exports. First-quarter 2022 export data was discussed at the meeting.

Important Export-Related Issues Were on the Agenda

At the consultation meeting between Kavcıoğlu and TİM management, numerous important export-related issues were addressed. The Russia-Ukraine war was also discussed, and views were exchanged on minimizing the effects of the war. At the meeting, 2022 first-quarter export figures and the impact of regional issues on export data were also discussed.

TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle Made a Written Statement

Following the meeting, TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle issued a written statement on social media. In his statement, Gülle said: "We held the second consultation meeting of this year with the participation of Central Bank Governor Şahap Kavcıoğlu. At the meeting, which was also attended by our Union Heads, we consulted on many topics including 2022 first-quarter export data and the impact of regional issues on exports."
