LİKİTDER announces new term board of directors

The Association of Liquid and Bulk Product Transporters (LİKİTDER) held its inaugural general assembly on 25 April 2024, at which new board and supervisory board members were elected. LİKİTDER, formed by leading companies engaged in the transport of liquid and bulk products, was introduced to the press in recent months. The association held its first general assembly on 25 April 2024. Following the general assembly, new board and supervisory board members for the coming term were elected. During the meeting, a brief presentation was given on the association's objectives and activities since its establishment, and the organization's targets were highlighted. The new board members under the chairmanship of LİKİTDER Board Chairman Yusuf Tetik were determined as follows: Ekin Tırman, Ayşe Ünal, Zafer Aşık, Muhammet Çil, Banu Arslan and Reyhan Ekşi. The new supervisory board members are Metin Kaya, Ömer Dede and Ersin Altınel. Continuing to contribute to sector development LİKİTDER Board Chairman Yusuf Tetik emphasized that the new board will continue to contribute to sector development. Tetik stated: "We embarked on this path with the aim of discussing the sector's problems, contributing to emerging legislation, organizing training programs and establishing standards. It is very important for us to conduct work on sustainability, environmental protection and the continuity of ecological balance in order to be a visionary association." "We will continue our efforts to reach 40 official members" Tetik, noting that they will organize a workshop in the second half of May titled "Liquid Bulk Transporters and Terminals: Common Problems and Solution Proposals," said: "Our visits to stakeholder associations, civil society organizations and relevant senior government officials will continue at a rapid pace. Through these visits, we will develop collaborative projects. In addition, we will continue our efforts to increase our membership and reach a minimum of 40 official members by the end of the year."
