King Agro to Retain Its Brand Name, Trademark and Business Relationships
Deere & Company announced it has signed an agreement to make a privately held carbon fiber technology product manufacturer, headquartered in Valencia, Spain, with production facility in Campana, Argentina, part of its operations.
In 2015, John Deere and King Agro agreed to develop and distribute carbon fiber for John Deere application equipment in agriculture, offering manufacturers the advantages of versatility, durability and resilience in self-propelled spraying equipment.
John May, Vice President of Agricultural Information and Computing at John Deere, stated: "This transaction provides John Deere customers with greater opportunity to benefit from unique knowledge, design and expertise in carbon fiber technology."
May said the transaction would benefit in sharing best practices in product development, and as King Agro builds on a history of innovation, production, technology and scale, King Agro will retain its brand name, trademark and business relationships.
