The Route to Global Competition in the Chemical Industry Leads to Istanbul

While sustainable production, digitalization, next-generation raw materials and increasingly stringent international regulations accelerate transformation in the chemical industry, access to new technologies and global cooperation are becoming more critical than ever for manufacturers. The fact that European Union regulations on the evaluation, classification and labeling of chemicals will introduce new obligations as of 2026 is also increasing the sector's need for information sharing on international platforms.

Sustainable production in the chemical industry, digitalization, next-generation raw materials and increasingly stringent international regulations are accelerating sector transformation, while access to new technologies and global collaborations are becoming more critical than ever for manufacturers. New obligations stemming from EU regulations on the evaluation, classification and labeling of chemicals as of 2026 are also increasing the sector's need for information sharing on international platforms.

Online visitor registrations have begun for the 11th Turkchem Eurasia and the concurrent InterDye & Textile Printing Eurasia trade fairs, which represent one of the most important regional meeting points of this transformation. Taking place at Istanbul Fuar Merkezi on 25-27 November 2026, the events will bring together professionals from the chemical and textile chemistry sectors around new technologies, production solutions and international trade opportunities in Istanbul.

Hosted thousands of sector professionals from 95 countries
At its previous edition, Turkchem Eurasia hosted 13,897 professional visitors from 95 countries, once again demonstrating its international reach. Iran, China, Russia, Pakistan, Egypt, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, Italy and India were among the countries with the heaviest visitor traffic. This strong participation demonstrated that the fair has become an important trade platform not only for Turkey but also bringing together markets in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North Africa.

Chemistry and textile chemistry sectors to meet on the same platform
Turkchem Eurasia will bring together under one roof a broad range of products and services in the chemical industry, including basic and specialty chemicals, petrochemical products, laboratory technologies, process equipment, environmental technologies and production solutions.

The concurrent InterDye & Textile Printing Eurasia will focus on textile chemicals, dyes, pigments, digital textile printing technologies and textile finishing solutions, bringing together all stakeholders in the sector.

The two complementary events will facilitate new business connections among manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, investors and procurement professionals, support the development of export-focused collaborations and help innovative technologies in the sector reach wider markets. They will also strengthen Turkey's strategic position as a trade bridge between Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North Africa, enhancing the international visibility of the Turkish chemical industry.

"New trade dynamics are taking shape in the chemical industry"
Ahmet Güler, founder and CEO of Artkim Group, shared the following comments regarding the transformation underway in the global chemical sector:

"The chemical industry today forms the foundation of production chains across many sectors from automotive to textiles, from food to pharmaceuticals. According to European Commission data, the European Union has lost approximately 15 percent of its steam cracker capacity and approximately 9 percent of its ammonia production capacity since 2021. Rising energy costs, global competition and changing supply chains are driving sector restructuring.

In such a period, it is of great importance for companies to reach new markets, establish alternative supply channels and strengthen international collaborations. We position Turkchem Eurasia precisely as an international trade platform that addresses this need. At our previous event, we hosted approximately 14,000 sector professionals from 95 countries in Istanbul. In 2026, we aim to bring together manufacturers, technology providers, investors and procurement professionals around new trade opportunities, leveraging the advantages of Turkey's strategic position."

Online visitor registrations underway
With the launch of the online registration system, sector professionals can create their fair entrance cards in advance and access the event venue quickly via QR code.

Thanks to the free registration process, visitors can plan fair programs in advance and meet with manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, investors and procurement professionals to evaluate new business development and commercial collaboration opportunities. Digital entrance cards will be sent to visitors who complete online registration via email.

Sector professionals wishing to visit the Turkchem Eurasia and InterDye & Textile Printing Eurasia fairs taking place at Istanbul Fuar Merkezi on 25-27 November 2026 can complete their free online registrations through the official websites of the fairs.
