With its newly launched Steelmaster 1200 WF, Jotun provides fire protection for structural steel against cellulosic fires for up to 180 minutes. Since 2005, the Steelmaster product line has delivered high-performance passive fire resistance. The line is now completed with Steelmaster 1200 WF. Jotun's new fire-resistant product Steelmaster 1200 WF, approved by Certifire and various independent fire organizations, provides superior fire protection in high-traffic structures such as airports, hotels, train stations, schools, stadiums and shopping centers.

Environmentally Friendly Protection Suitable for Green Buildings

Jotun Paints, a member of USGBC (U.S Green Building Council), provides fire protection suitable for green buildings with its new product. Steelmaster 1200 WF, a water-based formulation developed specifically for passive fire protection of steel structures exposed to cellulosic fires, meets green building requirements with its low volatile organic compound (V.O.C) content. Applied in thin layers by Jotun, it enables protection of larger areas with less paint while saving time.
