İzocam Introduces New Packaging for Eco-Friendly, Bio-Soluble Glass Wool
İzocam states that it directly contributes to 8 of the 17 global targets set by the United Nations for Sustainable Development.
İzocam has redesigned the packaging of its glass wool product to emphasize its contribution to the global targets set by the United Nations for Sustainable Development, while also expressing its commitment to human health and environmental protection.
The new semi-transparent white packaging uses less paint, thereby reducing the carbon footprint in packaging production.
İzocam's glass wool product's new packaging explains the 8 direct contributions the product makes to sustainability and global targets. The EUCEB certificate, granted only to bio-based product categories, and the bio-solubility characteristic it emphasizes, are also highlighted on the packaging.
İzocam Glass Wool's new packaging, which also increases brand visibility in the new design, is quite simple and easy to read. In this way, it emerges as an environmentally friendly packaging that also increases operational efficiency.
Doruk Özcan, Deputy General Manager of İzocam, explained that within the scope of the Global Targets for Sustainable Development, developed by the UN to combat global climate change and expected to be completed by 2030, they aim to highlight İzocam Glass Wool's contribution and, as a sector leader, to raise awareness among sector professionals on this matter, and stated:
"Insulation sector by nature and thanks to the characteristics of İzocam's products, we have been contributing to many of the 17 global targets set by the United Nations for Sustainable Development.
Because our products are harmless to human health, provide energy savings, and contribute to sustainability, we have been fulfilling our role in achieving 8 important targets among the UN's 17 global goals such as "Good Health and Well-Being", "Affordable and Clean Energy", "Decent Work and Economic Growth", "Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure", "Sustainable Cities and Communities", "Responsible Consumption and Production", "Climate Action" and "Partnerships for the Goals". However, we also wanted to be a pioneer in ensuring that both end users and sector professionals make product choices with this awareness, know the contribution of products to reducing carbon emissions, and focus on the benefits they will provide in both the short and long term." Özcan, noting that the EUCEB certificate on the packaging is a document given only to bio-based product categories and that the product is harmless to human health because of its bio-solubility, also emphasized that they were the first manufacturer of Thermal Insulation Materials to obtain the EUCEB certificate. Özcan also stated that İzocam products are placed on the market with the "CE" mark, which according to Article 6 of the Building Materials Regulation, an international regulation, means "material that enables the product to meet the basic requirements specified in the regulation", and emphasized that all İzocam products are manufactured in accordance with the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) criteria.Advertisement
