İZAYDAŞ Receives ISO 27001 Certification

Waste management leader İZAYDAŞ has upgraded its information security management systems to international standards. İZAYDAŞ has qualified for the "ISO 27001 Information Security Management System" certification through its information security practices. Our Operations Aligned with International Standards İZAYDAŞ, which had previously certified its compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 10002, ISO 17025, ISO 17043 and ISO 50001 standards in its areas of operation, has additionally qualified for ISO 27001 certification through its information security management practices. İZAYDAŞ continues its work with the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System, which targets the business rules that must be observed by İZAYDAŞ employees, systems, information and assets in terms of confidentiality, integrity and accessibility, and is based on ensuring business continuity within the scope of these objectives.

Audit and Certification

İZAYDAŞ began work in January 2017 to align its information security management system with the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System standard and have it certified. In a short timeframe, İZAYDAŞ fulfilled all requirements of this system and successfully completed audits conducted by certification body Kalitest. İZAYDAŞ established a culture focused on transparency, trust and integrity and achieved robust information security through teamwork involving all employees, qualifying for the certification documenting its compliance with the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System standard as of 12 April 2018. In our country, very few institutions, particularly in the public sector, are certified as compliant with the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System standard.
