Iğdır University Begins Disinfectant Production

"Domestic and national disinfectant at very low cost"

Hypochlorous acid, which underwent R&D work at Iğdır Üniversitesi, has begun production at the university. Under the supervision of Lecturer Musa Karadağ, production has a daily capacity of 3,000 litres. Noting that they expect demand from public institutions and the public, Lec. Karadağ stated: "The fact that the product we manufacture at very low cost is domestic and national, and uses our own resources, is a major advantage." The product, licensed by the Ministry of Health, has the following properties: liquid, clear and colourless, leaves no residue, contains no dyes, does not stain, requires no rinsing, can be used as hand and environmental disinfectant, can be used in medical, general and personal areas, can be used on alcohol-sensitive surfaces, odourless, non-irritating, provides rapid disinfection.
