Heubach Increases Colorant Capacity

Heubach has expanded its colorant production capacity with a highly flexible manufacturing technology that enables custom colors to be mixed according to customer requirements, utilizing a standard set of specially formulated base colorants at high concentrations. The new Heubach color technology concept covers the complete color space and ensures proper adjustment of physical parameters. The concept can be extended by adding colorants to meet future and market requirements. Heubach's comprehensive service package is complemented by "just-in-time service" options that provide the following advantages: • Innovative, universal formulation technology, • Development and production of custom-manufactured colorants in the shortest possible time, • Development of all types of coloring system configurations, • Highest color accuracy and reproducibility due to very low color strength and color tone property ranges. Heubach has also expanded its water-based high-performance pigment preparations with the universal HEUCOTINT UN coloring system, now recognized under four new colorant lines designated HEUCOTINT™ UN 41, 42, 43 and 44 commercial series. Heubach's sophisticated formulation technology has been further developed to create a HEUCOTINT UN product family that allows coloring of water and solvent-based products, including silica slurries. All of these coloring systems, which are also compliant with current regulatory requirements and environmental labeling, have been specifically designed for point-of-sale (POS) coloring as well as for in-plant applications (IPT).
