Hannover Fairs Turkey Strengthens Global Integration

Hannover Fairs Turkey (HFT), the Turkish arm of Deutsche Messe AG, strengthened Turkey's position in the global trade fair ecosystem through the international fairs and events it held in 2025. The organizations, which generated high-quality commercial interaction across many sectors including industry, automotive, HVAC and logistics, brought together thousands of brands, more than 100,000 visitors and buying delegations from numerous countries.

Hannover Fairs Turkey, the Turkey operation of Deutsche Messe AG, strengthened Turkey's position in the global trade fair ecosystem through international exhibitions and events organised in 2025. Events creating high-quality commercial interaction across multiple sectors including industry, automotive, air conditioning and logistics brought together thousands of brands, more than 100,000 visitors and purchasing delegations from numerous countries.

With the Hannover Fairs MENA office launched last year, the company established a new integration model along the Europe–Middle East–North Africa axis. Through an event calendar spanning from Europe to Africa and the Gulf countries, it aims to create a multi-layered international interaction network directing industrial transformation.

Strong Organisational Performance in 2025
Hannover Fairs Turkey, established as Deutsche Messe AG's Turkey subsidiary in 1996, organised 9 trade fairs and 6 confex events across Turkey and the MENA region in 2025. The company also contributed to the development of cross-sector collaboration by bringing Turkish manufacturers and exporters to global markets through Deutsche Messe AG's international organisations.

Events featuring in the 2025 calendar including WIN EURASIA, ALUEXPO, ISK-SODEX, HOW - Hub of Warehouse and Automechanika Istanbul focused on artificial intelligence, automation, energy efficiency, sustainability and digitalisation.

Mehtap Gürsoy, General Director of Hannover Fairs Turkey & MENA, noted that trade fairs not only respond to today's needs but have become strategic platforms shaping the future structure of industry and commerce. Gürsoy stated that intensive B2B meetings and high participant satisfaction demonstrated that these events are business platforms generating direct economic value.

Continuity Model Along the Europe–Turkey–MENA Axis
Pointing to the directional shift in global industrial and trade flows, Gürsoy emphasised that Hannover Fairs MENA was established in 2025 in line with this transformation. Accelerating manufacturing investments in the Middle East and North Africa, government-backed industrial transformation programmes and the region's new role in global supply chains formed the core motivation for this strategic expansion.

Gürsoy said: "We have taken trade fair organisation beyond a regional event format to create a trade and collaboration mechanism that operates year-round along the Europe–Turkey–MENA axis with continuity. This model accelerates companies' access to new markets while contributing to industrial transformation in the region."

International Expansion in the 2026 Calendar
Hannover Fairs Turkey & MENA plans to organise six international trade fairs and four confex events in 2026.

-Automechanika Istanbul 2026 (19–22 May 2026, Istanbul TUYAP – in partnership with Messe Frankfurt)

-WIN EURASIA 2026 (10–13 June 2026, Istanbul Fair Centre)

-Ankiros 2026 (22–24 October 2026, in partnership with Messe Düsseldorf)

As part of international expansion, additionally:

-Industrial Transformation Africa (29 September–1 October 2026, Casablanca)

-Industrial Transformation Saudi Arabia (30 November–2 December 2026, Riyadh)

-ISK-SODEX Saudi (16–19 November 2026, Riyadh)

events will be implemented.

"We Are Positioning Turkey at the Centre of the Global Trade Fair Network"
Gürsoy stated that they have established a strong trade fair network connecting Europe, Turkey, the Middle East and Africa, positioning trade fairs as platforms shaping the industry of the future.

In the coming period, Hannover Fairs Turkey aims to transform trade fair organisation through innovative content, technology-focused areas and sustainability-based practices; positioning Turkey at the centre of global commerce and industry meetings.
