Güriş Makes Major Battery Investment

GÜRIŞ, one of Turkey's leading groups in construction, industry and energy, has won a tender for a major project that will contribute to renewable energy. SİMTEL TEAM S.A won the tender for supplies for this project, which upon completion will be Romania's largest battery project. The signatures of the turnkey EPC contract were affixed at Antalya Mirage Park Resort, owned by GÜRIŞ Group, with the participation of HUAWEI.
The battery storage system to be installed as part of the project will increase grid flexibility and provide significant contribution to energy supply security. HUAWEI will provide the technology for the facility. Thus, with the completion of the facility, the objective is to achieve more efficient use of energy obtained from renewable energy sources. The project is planned to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
